76th Annual MPSA Conference Subfield Proposals Due December 8
Research submitted to a subfield will be presented either as a Lightning Talk or as a poster.&
Encourage an Undergraduate - The MPSA Conference Program ­Chairs and section heads invite you to encourage an undergraduate student to submit a proposal to either of this year's undergraduate research sections:
Sect. 81 - Undergraduate Research Posters: International Relations and Comparative
Sect. 82 - Undergraduate Research Posters: Political Science
The Undergraduate Poster section provides students with the opportunity to present their projects in a professional environment while impressing upon them the importance of faculty-mentored projects to their overall education, especially for those considering graduate education.

Submit a Subfield Proposal - Research papers accepted in the following subfields will be presented either as a Lightning Talk or as a poster:
Sect. 72 - Subfield: Methodology
Sect. 73 - Subfield: American Politics
Sect. 74 - Subfield: Comparative Politics
Sect. 75 - Subfield: Politics of Developing Countries
Sect. 76 - Subfield: International Relations
Sect. 77 - Subfield: Public Policy & Public Administration
Sect. 78 - Subfield: Political Theory
Sect. 79 - Subfield: Political Behavior
Sect. 80 - Subfield: Political Institutions
The deadline to submit subfield proposals is Friday, December 8, 2017. Full instructions for doing so can be found at www.MPSAnet.org/conference . Program participants are not required to be MPSA members, though all participating presenters are required to register for the conference and MPSA members receive significant registration discounts.
