This somewhat labor-intensive approach has been described elsewhere as the "multi-researcher multi-case multi-site" (MRMCMS) method of analysis. The aim of the MRMCMS design is to harness teams of researchers from different intellectual contexts to create a better trade off between breadth and depth where this is appropriate and desirable.
